I was looking to come up with a strong fine lace yarn for my larger projects.
The perfect combination came using bamboo, superfine merino and bison. The bamboo provides strength, silky smoothness and sheen. The merino gives it just the right amount of elasticity without making it overly woolly. The natural bison adds warmth and lovely halo highlights.
It is available in Ecru and a variety of shades and colors only made possible with hand blended coloring.
I spin it in 2 ply at 400 or 600m/50gm and single ply at 800m/50gm. Gentle on the hands, Kami knits up beautifully.
